Council Remuneration Review Committee

The Committee acts in an advisory capacity to Morinville Council to ensure fair and equitable compensation is provided for Mayor and Council with their responsibilities, while also considering fiscal responsibility and transparency in governance. The Committee will make recommendations in respect to the salary for Mayor and Councillors’, per diems, benefits, and other matters that may affect remuneration.

Members from the public are appointed by the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) will be appointed for a term commencing by July 2024 and ending December 31, 2024.

Note: Members of Council, their family, or current employees of the Town of Morinville are not eligible to participate on this Committee.
