Morinville is considering the reintroduction of a parade as part of Festival Days starting in 2026 — and we want to hear your thoughts.
In 2025, a review determined that hosting a parade this year was not feasible due to timing, staffing, safety considerations and budget constraints. However, with adequate planning, additional resources and staff, a parade could be reintroduced in the future.
Two parade formats are being explored:
Vehicle Parade: Traditional format with motorized floats and a larger footprint.
Important Note: This would represent a new service level and may affect other municipal priorities.
